Diverticulosis diet
- Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables
- Eat whole grains like quinoa, barley, and whole wheat
- Eat beans and legumes like black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, and lentils
- Eat foods that soften stool, like bran, whole wheat bread, and whole grain cereals
Other tips
- Eat five or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day
- Limit red meat, processed foods, and foods high in saturated fat
- Exercise regularly
